Biggie’s Daughter, T’Yanna Wallace, Puts Up $1 Million Home As Collateral For Baby’s Father Hit-And-Run Case

Baby, what is you doing? ?

On August 17, T’Yanna Wallace, 29, put up her $1 million home as collateral for Tyshawn Baldwin, her daughter’s father, after he was taken into police custody on August 16 for allegedly eluding police and hitting pedestrians in Queens during a traffic stop.

Wallace, the daughter of deceased rapper Notorious B.I.G., reportedly posted bond for Baldwin in a Queens court. The 29-year-old woman used her home, valued at $1,442,000, to cover the $1 million bond he had to pay to be released from jail. Ira Judelson is the bail bondsman with whom she entered the surprising arrangement.

According to a press release from the District Attorney in Queens, Melissa Katz, the 28-year-old suspect faces 17 counts, including “assault in the first and second degrees, reckless endangerment in the first and second degrees, unlawful fleeing a police officer, obstructing governmental administration, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, parking within an intersection and driving by unlicensed operator.”

New York police stopped Baldwin for illegally parking his Dodge Durango at an intersection, having too dark tints on his car windows and loud exhaust in Ridgewood, Queens, on August 10. Once cops ran his information, police realized that Baldwin was driving on a suspended license and attempted to apprehend him. His license was suspended a year ago. Upon fleeing the scene, the man allegedly mowed over three pedestrians, including a toddler in a stroller and its mother.

Katz expressed her sentiments on the alleged incident, “The complete disregard for public safety, in this case, is shameful. As alleged, the defendant was operating a vehicle with a suspended license when he struck and injured three pedestrians, including a young child – all while callously fleeing a traffic stop. Driving is a privilege, and every single person who gets behind the wheel of a car bears an individual responsibility to drive safely. The defendant now faces very serious charges.”

Baldwin, a Brooklyn native like Wallace, was ordered back to court by  Magistrate Dunn on August 19. The man faces up to 25 years behind bars if he is found guilty.
