Berry’s Divorce Saga Concludes: A Peek Inside Their Custody Blueprint

Finally, after years of legal battles and emotional turmoil, Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez’s divorce proceedings have concluded, offering a glimpse into their shared custody agreement and financial commitments.

The couple’s relationship, which began in 2010 and led to marriage in 2013, encountered its fair share of ups and downs before officially ending in 2015. What followed was a complex web of custody disputes and financial negotiations that kept their legal teams busy for years.

In a monumental step toward closure, documents obtained by TMZ reveal

the terms of their custody agreement.

Berry and Martinez have agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their 9-year-old son, Maceo. The custody arrangement, outlined over 33 pages, maps out the intricacies of Maceo’s weekly schedule, including school holidays, birthdays, and special occasions.

One striking facet of this resolution is Berry’s commitment to paying $8,000 per month in child support to Martinez.

Additionally, Berry will contribute 4.3% of any income exceeding $2 million. This financial obligation underscores the couple’s dedication to providing the best for their child’s upbringing, transcending their past differences.

The custody arrangement extends beyond financial aspects. Both Berry and Martinez have recognized the importance of counseling for Maceo during this transitional period. Maceo will participate in individual and family counseling sessions, during which Berry’s older daughter Nahla is allowed to be present. Notably, however, Berry’s current partner, musician Van Hunt, is excluded from these sessions, raising questions about the dynamics at play within their extended family.

Another user wrote, “Seeeeeeee she thought it was sweeter on that RAISINS IN THE POTATO SALAD side.”

As the legal ink dries on this chapter of their lives, Berry and Martinez have demonstrated their willingness to prioritize their child’s well-being. The joint custody arrangement, financial commitments, and provisions for counseling stand as a testament to their shared determination to offer Maceo the best possible upbringing.
