‘Basketball Wives’ Shaunie O’Neal Goes Public With New Pastor Boo

"You’ve taught me so much thus far, and you love me and my children unconditionally," she wrote on Instagram.

On camera, entrepreneur and reality television personality Shaunie O’Neal has allowed fans a few glimpses into her private life as a mother and overall go-getter. Sharing with her 1.3 million fans on Instagram this past week, the Basketball Wives star and executive producer posted a heartfelt birthday shoutout to her new boyfriend Keion Henderson, saying he’s made her “the happiest girl in the world.”

Calling him her close friend and “partner in life,” O’Neal wished Henderson a happy birthday and gushed about her new man, who serves

as a senior pastor in a Texas church. 

Today many will celebrate you for the impact that you have made in their lives, the love you’ve shown to perfect strangers, and the comfort you’ve provided sharing the word of God,” she wrote on Instagram, sharing selfies and videos of the two together. “Today I celebrate you because as our friendship has blossomed, you’ve become my safe place where I can authentically grow without judgement. You are my soundboard, you’ve taught me so much thus far, and you love me and my children unconditionally.”

O’Neal continued, “During a time where I had given up on finding a soulmate, God sent you. Thank you for being my friend first, yet being intentional with my time and heart. Happiest Birthday to the man that has made me The Happiest Girl In The World!”

Henderson, 40, leads the Lighthouse Church community as a senior pastor, and also serves as founder and CEO. Headquartered in Houston, Lighthouse Church was founded in 2009 and now has over 12,000 regular members. Henderson’s church also offers online streaming of church services, bringing 800,000 viewers per week.

Uploading their selfie to his own Instagram, Henderson followed up O’Neal’s post by writing, “I will accept all congratulatory messages but yours, @shaunieoneal5 will I cherish forever. Thank you for making my 40th Birthday one I will never forget! Shaunie, you’re the gift that keeps on giving.”
