R&B crooner Babyface joins the legendary Anita Baker on her 2023 tour, The Songstress.
“Our Friend. The Legend, Himself… @Babyface has agreed to Join Us,” she tweeted. “As Our, Special Guest for Evenings filled with Love & Music.”

Baker announced his presence on her tour, but not before indulging in a little game with her followers, seeing if they could guess the special guest from her clues.

“Have you Guessed???… Who our *Special Guest, is????” Baker wrote on Nov. 23.
For her first clue, she tweeted, “CLUES…’Rapture’ released 1986. *Legendary Male, after 1986.”

Many people commented on their confusion, while others took jabs at guessing who the special guest was.
“Usher? Johnny Gill? Shawn Stockman? John Legend? Brian McKnight?” One Twitter user commented with Baker responding with “[So] CLOSE.”

Another person asked for one more clue and if the guest was a part of a group, and Baker responded, “Originally YES.”

Baker announced her tour back in October. The Songstress tour will start in Hollywood, FL, on Feb. 11.
