Ashanti Says She And Nelly Are ‘In A Better Place’ Now, Following Arizona Performance

Things got a bit steamy on stage between Ashanti and Nelly during their performance at Power 98.3 and 96.1’s Under the Mistletoe concert in Arizona, leaving people to wonder if there’s an update on their relationship status.

Following their performance of “Body On Me” on the Arizona stage, Ashanti went on Watch What Happens 

Live with Andy Cohen. Two fans named Rachel and Savannah from Long Island asked the “Foolish” singer about her reaction to fans “freaking out” over her grinding on the “Just a Dream” rapper during the performance.

“People online want you and Nelly to get bak together,” Cohen responded in a sing-song manner. “It’s all I’m saying.”

“I saw a lot of comments,” the songstress said. “I mean, my reaction was, wow. It was a lot of comments and a lot of people wanting that. What I will say is we’re in a better place ’cause before it was [mimics fighting], but we’re cool now. We had some conversations, so it’s cool.”

Videos of the performance surfaced all over social media, showing the singer winding and grinding her hips on Nelly, who was blushing over Ashanti’s moves.
