Aryn Drake-Lee Is Demanding Full Custody From ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Star Jesse Williams

The ex-wife of former Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams, Aryn Drake-Lee, is demanding full custody of her children with the actor.

The couple separated in 2017 after being together 13 years, five of them married. They went through a bitter divorce which was finally settled in 2020.

However, after Williams left the television show last May, Drake-Lee contends that the actor frequently leaves town for months at a time and constantly cancels during his custodial time. Lee also had an issue with Williams firing their longtime nanny without her consent during the pandemic due to him being home more.

Drake-Lee claimed the loss of the nanny caused the young children to struggle, which led her to rehire the nanny. She stated that she now pays the nanny out of pocket. She alleged that when confronted with the issues, Williams became “erratic” and called her names. She also said she feared for herself and her children after he threatened to call the police on her.

“I am requesting modification of the custody schedule and other provisions of the judgment to better reflect the new reality of our lives, and most importantly, properly, and positively address the needs of our children,” wrote Drake-Lee. “When I’ve reminded Jesse of his cancelations and informed him of plans made because of said cancelations, he has resorted to erratic behavior to try to force me to acquiesce to his demands; he calls me names, uses threatening language and intimidation tactics such as threatening to send the police to my home, causing me to fear for my and our children’s safety.”

Drake-Lee wants Williams to be stripped of custody and awarded visitation on the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends of the month. She also wants a detailed schedule of his future projects to plan around his schedule. The actor has not yet responded to the news of his ex-wife’s request.
