Amina Buddafly Considered The Side Chick And Not The Wife. How Sway?

Since Derrick Jaxn’s cheating scandal and former celebrity couple Saweetie and Quavo officially called it quits last week, social media users have offered their two cents on who was at fault and the alleged cheating that led to their demise. This past Tuesday, former “Love & Hip Hop” star Amina Buddafly added her own thoughts, questioning why she was dragged for staying when many other women do the same.

“So many fucking women stay w cheaters but I was ‘the stupidest bitch on earth,’”the singer

tweeted, followed by an annoyed emoji. “Wendy Williams knew for 12 years!!! Twelve!! And had the audacity to call me less than smart.. I could drop more names but I won’t….I’m w [Saweetie]…but then again who knows she may go back too…”

She followed with another tweet, saying that she was just “thinking out loud.” But after Buddafly vented her frustrations, many fans were quick to call out that she was initially a side chick to Peter Gunz, who was with his baby’s mother Tara Wallace when he and Buddafly started to become intimate. The three were involved in an on-again, off-again love triangle that kept “Love & Hip-Hop” watchers glued to their screen.

One person commented under Buddafly’s tweet, “If he cheats with you he’s going to cheat on you. The same way you got him is the same way you lose him.”

While Buddafly did receive some support from fans, other users labeled her a “side wife,” with one person tweeting, “I think Amina was the first time I had heard of someone being a side wife…”

Except, Buddafly wasn’t exactly Gunz’s “side wife,” she was his only wife. One Twitter user wrote, “…He said he was over his ex and he married her. So in my opinion, that’s proof of who he wanted.”

 

Although Gunz shares several kids with Wallace, the two were never legally married. In fact, Wallace and Gunz had an affair while he was married to Buddafly, making Wallace the side chick…go figure.

 Gunz and Buddafly divorced in 2018 following a tumultuous five-year marriage.
