Amara La Negra Welcomes Twins Sumajestad And Sualteza Home Following NICU Stay

La Negra gave birth to the twin girls on March 23.

Amara La Negra was delighted after she was finally able to bring her twin girls home following their extended stay in the NICU.

After the dominicana gave birth to the twin girls last month, they received a royal welcome home from their godmother, who decorated the property with balloons, flowers, cake, and more. The 31-year-old’s reaction was priceless as she witnessed the beautiful decorations in the home.

“This was such a beautiful entrance for the arrival of my Girls Home Thanks to [their] Godmother @carmensbeautyspa. I totally wasn’t expecting that, but I can’t wait to show my girls when they are older how excited we were to finally have them home,” La Negra said in the series of photos she posted to her Instagram account.

The songstress shared the names of her twin daughters, indicating that they’re very much Dominican with a touch of royalty. La Negra posted a video of the adorable newborns with a caption in English and Spanish.

“Mis Hijas / My Daughters Sumajestad Royalty De Los Santos Sualteza Empress De Los Santos,” she wrote in the photo’s caption.

The Love & Hip Hop Miami star opened up about her experience having a Cesarean delivery (C-section) and spent much time healing during her hospital stay. However, she had mixed feelings about leaving her daughters without being able to take them home.

“One of the toughest moments for me has been giving birth without being able to hold my babies, healing from my C-section and having to go to the NICU every day knowing I’ll go home without taking my girls with me even tho I know they will be fine,” she said. “I hate having to leave them but thank God they are healthy and beautiful.”

She continued, “I’ll be honest, I didn’t understand what a serious operation a C-section is, all The layers and the sacrifice your body goes thru to bring life to this world! But thank god I had an amazing doctor, and the hospital treated me amazingly, and I’m so grateful for that.”

As Sis2Sis previously reported, La Negra gave birth to the twins on March 23 with her on-again-off-again boyfriend and entrepreneur Allan Mueses.
