As the second season of ABC network’s hit series Abbott Elementary winds down, fans finally got the moment they anticipated.
On Wednesday, Gregory and Janine finally kissed. The two blerds shared a passionate kiss as they broke into a floral living class exhibit at a Pennsylvania teachers’ conference. During the Abbott Elementary episode, Gregory went for the big moment. Janine reciprocated her coworker’s kiss by grabbing his lanyard and pulling him into her.
Although the pair have obviously liked each other for a while, Janine’s relationship with Mo (Gregory’s bestie) and his relationship with Amber– made their dating situation taboo. Ultimately, the pair blew off the kiss, but that didn’t stop fans on Black Twitter from going up over the long-awaited smooch.
