21 Savage Ditches Gold Teeth For New Choppers, #IssaLook

21 sets the record straight about his new pearly whites.

Since Plies removed his distinct gold teeth, buried them in his yard and cleared his Instagram page of his old look this past January, 21 Savage is the latest hip-hop artist to trade in his grill for a classic, white smile.

This past Monday, 21 Savage took to his Instagram to debut his new look. With a bright smile and no caption necessary, the Atlanta rapper humbly let his fans know that he’s ditched the permanent gold teeth we’ve seen him wear his whole career.

Fellow rappers Lil Durk, T.I., and producer Metro Boomin commented in support of his new smile, with Metro Boomin praising, “Very rare sell this as an NFT.”

And while his thirst trap was flooded with plenty more positive comments and over 1.6 million likes, other fans…weren’t so nice.

One Instagram user wrote, “This looks like it’s photoshopped lmao.” And soon after, Black Twitter joined in on the jokes.

Word quickly got around to 21 Savage, because he made it known that he wasn’t here for the petty shade.

21 Savage playfully wrote on Twitter, “I paid 75k I’ll be [damned] if I let y’all say these teeth ain’t mine,” followed by a laughing emoji.

You heard it from the source, folks. It’s his. He spent it. We’re glad to know that he’s not taking it too seriously.
